What’s it like working with me?
I come from a journalistic background, which gives me a thorough grounding in facts and research, however, as a creative I have written plays for the stage and for radio and am a published author with two novels and a book of short stories to my name. I’m also a regular Pro blogger. So, you’re in safe hands.

- I live in a seaside town on the beautiful North Yorkshire Coast with my wife Raine and our three children
- I’m a huge Kate Bush fan and got to meet her when she came to Manchester in 1980 when I was 17
- I once worked as a stand-up comedian, playing in many comedy clubs
- I’m a baby boomer, just, born in the 1960s
- I’m a vegetarian and my favourite meals are Indian and Mexican
- I love tea and coffee, as long as they’re decaf
